Acura TSX Introduction
Acura TSX model was introduced in June 2003 and manufactured by Honda. To compete with entry level luxury cars it was sold in North America under the Acura name. The main competitors of Acura TSX are Mercedes Benz C Class 230, Lexus IS 250, Volvo S40, and BMW 3 series 328i.
Acura Tsx's 4 door, entry level seden has filled the gap after demise of 2001's Integra sedan. The TSX is constructed from the CL series Honda Accord and sold in Japan and Europe. When TSX was introduced it had restyled interior and different suspension tuning. Now the interior was redesigned and standardized for all three markets.
TSX had modified in 2006 with sportier exterior styling which features a new front look, integral fog lights, standard, restyled wheels and rear is bolder with standard side skirts. Some interior features added are standard safety feature, and luxury features like Bluetooth compatible HandsFree Link.
Other than CSX model which was sold in Canada only, TSX is the smallest sedan model in the Acura's model line as of 2006. Price range for Acura TSX is US$27,890 to $29,890. All the TSX models are manufactured in Japan at Sayama. Honda sells the Accord Euro in New Zealand and Australian markets as a smaller mid sized car and the US Accord is sold in larger category of car.
