Acura TL has rigid body structure which provides overriding importance to the TL design. As we know that twisting or flexing can have an effect upon the performance of the most accurately tuned suspension.

To increase the rigidity of the body special type of high tensile steel is used at the key structural areas without adding weight. Behind the rear seatback there are large diagonal braces which protect the body against twisting.

Also bending or torsional rigidity is improved by rear roof pillar braces and one-piece roof structure. It results in the more precise balance of nimble handling and comfortable ride with improved steering response and harmonious connection between the TL and its driver.
