Acura TL Introduction
Acura TL, a compact executive car was introduced as 1996 model by Honda's luxury division in Marysville, Ohio. It was designed to take position of Acura Vigor. Until the third generation version it was a rebadged Japan-market Honda Inspire sedan.
Acura TL is the best selling model. In the United States it was at the second place in selling market after BMW 3 series and rewarded as second best selling luxury sedan. For 2007, the bestselling sport sedan of acura get a midcycle makeover. The Type-S model has 3.5-liter V-6 to make 286 horsepower. A 28hp model uses 3.2-liter V-6 incresed over the base model. The Acura TL remains in the position for its front wheel drive status because early homes are that the Type-S might consist Acura's Super Handling All wheel Drive.
In 2004 Acura TL was redesigned for increasing its performance. A standard V-6 works with both a five speed automatic transmission as well as six speed manual transmission. It was dropped in the base model but available in the TL Type-S.
