Acura RSX Engine

RSX Base Engine:

Because of an intelligent design the RSX motivated in number of ways. The RSX model has a i-VTEC 2.0-liter engine producing 155 horsepower and having 16 valves. The features of engine show the intelligence of engineering. The i-VTEC system of engine provides low rpm torque as well as high rpm power gaining a maximum pull of 139-lbs.-ft at 4000 rpm.

The RSX engine has high performance as per its materials used. The cylinder heads and Aluminum-alloy blocks lessen the weight and crankshaft made up of forged steel rides on micro polished surfaces reduces friction. You get precision and power at the end and up to 100,000 miles you get durability as well.

RSX Type-S Engine:

The sport coupe performance was taken by the Type-S engine producing 201 horsepower at 7800 rpm with maximum pull of 140-lbs-ft at 7000 rpm. But more than rpms there are other things behind this such as broad and flat torque curves. On intake as well as exhaust valve an advanced 3 rocker arm design is operated the immediate response is inspired by the i-VTEC engine.

The Type-s engine is manufactured of aluminum alloy blocks and cylinder heads to reduce the weight and enough space for moving quickly for your driving whims. Looking at it's durability the Type-S engine is designed to travel 110,000 miles before it's first schedule tune-up.
