Acura RSX Introduction
RSX model of Acura is manufactured and sold by Honda. It is the replacement for the Integra badged version of Acura and marketed in North America and Hong Kong. Besides this Hondas sold RSX as Honda Integra in Australia, Japan, New Zealand and elsewhere.
In North America it is available in base as well as Type-S trim levels. In Oceania and Japan Integra iS or Integra Type S and Type R versions are sold. Type R sold in Oceania is same as like the Type S sold in North America. Integra naming is newly aligned as per the North America's conventions.
In Canada there are 3 models and in the other regions of world like Hong Kong, Singapore, etc there is only one model That base version is available. The three models available in Canada are:
- Base :- No sunroof or leather.
- Premium :- U.S. Base
- Type S
Honda designed Acura RSX model on an entirely new platform instead of restructuring the older versions. It has been a strong seller for Hondas but it can not fit into the bounded scope of Acura's restructured market strategy. Only in America the Acura nameplate has appeared otherwise in other places it was sold as Hondas.
The TSX model of Acura is more luxurious, more powerful and more expensive it replaces RSX as Acura's entry level sports coup. The RSX is replaced by Acura CSX and then after that is also replaced by EL in Canada. Now this model is discontinued by Acura.
