The RL 5-speed Sequential SportShift gives you two modes of aceleration-a fully automatic five-speed transmission for smooth, efficient driving and a manual mode with close ratios and paddle shifters that enable you to shift manually. While in automatic mode (D), a sophasticated Grade Logic Control system holds the gear while traversing steep roads and downhill stretches.

Manual mode(M) gives you the ability to use the steering wheel-mounted paddie shifters, so you can keep the engine in your favorite spot on the tachometer.
