With 290 horsepower behind it, the RL is fitted with nothing less than a racing inspired double widhbone front suspension system. The wishbone design helps to effectively isolate the springs and shocks from lateral forces, and its lightweight components help to maximize tire-to-pavement contact. Its geometry is tuned to provide a distinctly linear steering feel while comering providing more precision and confidense.

A multi link suspension system is there at rear which provides all high performance benefits of the double wishbone setup. These includes solid resistance to lateral forces. Its geometry featur helps to deter rearend lift during braking.

To lower the unsprung weight the links are made up of forged aluminum, to reduce shock from surface bumps. The suspension is placed to a lightweight aluminum subframe to seperate the cabin from road harshness.
