Acura RL Introduction
The first Acura Rl was assembled on 4th January 1996. All the Acura RL's are built in Japan at Saitama. In the range of luxury brand acuras of Honda's North American Acura is at the top of the acura seden. This model is rebaged model of fourth generation Honda Legend and after that in 1996 it was relpaced by Acura Legend.
This Acura Legend model was officially known as KA9. Originally RL stood for Road luxury but someone suggest that it stood for Replaced Legend. The 1996's Acura 3.5RL had been a true cometitor for the Lexus LS in the automotive world. Acura RL was dropped in the sale market because it fell short untill 2005 when its new model was redesigned.
The redesigned model internally known as KB1 and was launched in late 2004 and was evocative of the Mercedes Benz E Class. In 2006 Acura Rl was sold with an optimal technology package which includes certain features such as Collision Mitigation Avoisance System, adaptive cruise control, and Michelin PAX run flat tires.
