The RDX artfully combines the low weight and economy of a four-cylinder with the power and authority of a high-performance V6, thanks to its turbocharged, intercooler, 2-3 liter DOHC i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine.

Featuring Acura's innovative variable flow turbocharger technology that is designed to drastically reduce turbo tag, the engine produces 240 horsepower 6000 rpm and 260 lbs-ft of torque 4500 rpm while delivering EPA city/highway mileage of 19/23.

It's controlled by a racing inspired Drive by Wire Throttle System, which links the gas pedal and engine throttle electronically, allowing the RDX to RDX to provide the ideal throttle sensitivity in varying driving conditions.
