History of Acura Car:

To market luxury automobiles and near luxury vehicals a Japanese car manufacturer Honda in US, Canada and Hong Kong had used Acura as brand name since March 1986. In Mexico the brand was introduced in 2004 and in China it was introduced in 2006. It is planned that Acura will be introduced in Japanese market in 2008. Honda is credited as the first one to tap into the market for Japanese luxury cars outside Japan using Acura brands.

Since 1986, Acura continuousaly rasing the performance standards for the luxury cars. Because of that The performance luxury division of America Honda Motor Company rewarded Acura for its technologies, aggresive styling and superior engineering.

Acura launched its first model the Legend after 10 years of research and development. It was the first Japanese luxury model to aapear in the US market appealing combination of performance, precision and comfort. The Legend seden was the first Acura brand appeared in 1986. After that Acura Legend seden was joined by the Acura Integra sport coupes and sedens.

By the end of 1990 Acura intoduced it's new model Acura NSX sport coupe with greatest new technologies so Motor Trend caaled it as the 'best sport car ever built'. Acura Legend won a prestigious Import car of the year trophy in 1991. After that in 2000 Acura MDX made its debut. It was built in North America.

In 2001 a new model Acura RSX sports coupe was introduced, which delivers efficiency, flexibility and Lev-II rated emission. And in 2003 a higher performance was arrived with the debut of new 2004 model TL. All 2005 RL models are making history by redefining the luxury performance sedan.
